StonePoint Update

Things have been crazy busy! Here is an update on where we're at:

• We sent out a Christmas mailer for our Christmas Eve services and had our largest attendance since launch.
• The theater actually let us have our services while they were showing movies.
• We sent out another mailer the week after New Year's. We promoted our new series "Pure Sex."
• We've taken some flack from Christians for doing the series and sending out our mailer. I don't regret it one bit! In two weeks, we've had 53 first time families, 6 salvations and 12 rededications! This series has hit home with a lot of people.
• In November and December we began to challenge the church and pray that God double our impact. It was a dangerous prayer. I'll share more in another post.
• We've grown by 100 people and have now gone to two services!
• In the next couple of months we're hoping to look for a Small Groups & Administrative Pastor. We'll look inward first and then begin a full search.
• Mark Gibson, our Worship Pastor, got married to Clarissa yesterday!
• My wife and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary!
• We've more than doubled our number of volunteers.
