StonePoint Update

So here's the latest on StonePoint.

• We've added 12 families to our launch team since January 1st. That's puts us at, well 12 families! I'm pretty pumped about coming into an area where we've known no one and now God has brought 12 families.
• Praying that God continues to bring 5 families a month between now and launch. That would be over 40 families before we launch.
• Creating a buzz about a "Church In A Theater". We bought the domain www.ChurchInATheater.com. But more than that, you know you're creating a buzz when you've got unchurched people telling other unchurched people that they need to check out a church that doesn't even meet yet.
• We've got two potential staff members (both part time until launch, then one full time) that are extremely talented. I am excited about this team and their talents that they bring to StonePoint.
• Joined the Chamber of Commerce, looking to connect with local business leaders.
• Officially came off staff at LifePoint Christian Church. They threw a baby shower for StonePoint and we racked up almost half of what we need for the nursery and preschool. If you're feeling generous you can buy a gift for StonePoint off our registry at Babies R Us, Target or Wal-Mart (just search under Scott Whitaker).
• Setup QuickBooks Online
• Continue to set up office in a local coffee shop. Meeting new people and connecting with the community.
